Instructor Qualifications:
Mr. Curley is a senior attorney and trial counsel who graduated from UC Berkeley, with honors, in 1970 and there after obtained his JD from the University of California School of Law in San Francisco. He has tried numerous cases representing and defending dentists and oral surgeons.

Mr. Curley is adjunct faculty at UCSF, San Francisco and an assistant professor of Dental Jurisprudence at the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. He has authored chapters in several textbooks, including oral surgery, endodontics, and periodontics. Mr. Curley has contributed to over 10 dental journal articles, and is Member of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
Course Summary:

This course will explore the varied and diverse elements of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its integration and evolving role in dentistry. The increased usage and adoption of AI technology in dental practices has indelibly impacted diagnostic and cognitive computing, decision making influence, and ultimately the methods of delivery of oral healthcare. Understanding and identifying the uses, implications and potential risks are key elements for successful implementation into your practice management and delivery of patient care.
