Gian Pietro Schincaglia, DDS, PhD, is a Professor, Chair and Director of the Graduate Program in Periodontics at the Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine. He earned his DDS and PhD from the University of Ferrara in Italy and completed his periodontal training at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. His research focuses on periodontal and mucogingival surgery, dental implants, immediate loading, and digital workflows in implant dentistry. He has published extensively in both national and international journals.
